1981 Sistrum formed when Mark Smith met kindred spirit Peter Webb
They shared love of bands such as
Depeche Mode,Soft Cell,Naked Lunch
1985 Smith changed jobs which made making music together difficult. They remained friends but sadly Webb passed away in 1997 Smith continued recording music such as a Mediaeval Dance Album
2015 Sistrum was resurrected & played a number of Eclectic Electric gigs
